Boat filling station

For many years we have been operating a boat filling station for the boats of our members and guests, for the neighbouring sport boat clubs in Worms, Lampertheim and so on, and of course for passing sport boats.

Due to the constant threat of flooding on the Rhine, operating your own boat filling station is a great challenge. In 2013, for example, both storage tanks were renewed under enormous investments and in accordance with all current safety and environmental regulations.

However, we see our engagement as an important contribution to the boat infrastructure of the region. Both upstream and downstream, the nearest petrol stations are about 30 km away, so that MYCW is, for example, the last possibility for mountain drivers who want to enter the Neckar to refuel.

In 2016 we switched to automatic tank operation. This delivers increased comfort to you, especially for passing sport boat captains. The annoying phone registrations and waiting times are thus a thing of the past - the boat filling station is available from 8 till 22 o’clock every day. Both diesel and super petrol are available and the fuel terminal accepts Girocard (the former EC-Card) as well as credit cards, each with PIN. In order to safeguard environmental and safety aspects, the tank operation is continuously monitored by camera.

You will reach the boat station if you keep sharp left immediately after harbours entrance and drive through to the end of the basin. After dredging in 2018 there will be enough water depth, even mostly at times of low water. You can find some tips for our harbour entrance here.

Travellers are always welcome. We hope, of course, that as a result of your refuelling you will decide to spend several nights with us, for example to explore the wonderful surroundings and the ancient city of Worms. Worms is worth a trip.
